Before Influenster sent me their Ole Henriksen VoxBox, I had purchased one of Trenmood’s monthly boxes, which was also sponsored by Ole Henriksen. I received 5 products from that box, which included the the Banana Bright Face Primer, Banana Bright Eye Cream (love!), Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner, Cold Plunge Pore Mask, and the new Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum. The vitamin C I was using at the time wasn’t doing much for me, so I dove head-first into the Banana Bright serum.
The product retails for $65 (1oz), which is pretty on par with almost any Vitamin C you’ll find at Sephora. It includes a 20% Acid Blend, 15% Vitamin C, and 5% PHAs, along with hyaluronic acid, and “banana powder-inspired pigments”. With 1-2 pumps applied to the skin daily, the product is supposed to target all major signs of aging, dullness, fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and uneven texture, while hydrating and bringing radiance to your complexion.
It comes in a pretty large tube and includes a pump. Upon first application, it smells like freshly squeezed oranges, though it’s not a perfumy. If you’ve ever used their C Rush Brightening cream, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The product has a rich orange color and a very light texture. When rubbing into the skin, it sinks right in and automatically provides a huge surge of hydration. My face feels extremely supple and plump after use. See the before and after pics of my hand below for reference!
I can’t speak to the texture, brightening, and fine lines claims as of yet, but I can say that it hydrates and brings a gorgeous glow to the skin. My face absolutely LOVES it. If you have a chance to get your hands on this product, I would definitely take it!
Have you guys tried this serum yet? Or is it just on your wishlist?
This was a great review! Not sure when you did the review, but can you speak to brightening and texture reduction now?
