Do Love Wellness Pills Work?

Before the new year rings in, millions of people (including myself) make resolutions to improve their health. Whether it’s to lose weight, lift heavier, or simply eat better, wellness always seems to be at the top of everyone’s list. As I finished my Thanksgiving dinner last November and started looking at all of the looming Black Friday deals, I saw an ad for a brand called Love Wellness. The gorgeous coloring on the packaging SPOKE to me, but I still did not convert until I was exposed to yet another ad (yay retargeting!) and saw that Lo Bosworth from The Hills was the founder. Let me tell y’all something, I LOVED me some Lo. Sis was loyal and always cute. Having a bit more trust in the brand because I adored the founder, I went to the site an ordered a 3-pack for a discounted $48 (bottles are usually $25 each).

Bye Bye Bloat ($25)

As noted on the bottle, the Bye Bye Bloat pills have digestive enzymes and organic ingredients to help de-bloat. Whether you’re looking to get rid of excess water weight or simply want to aid digestion after a hearty meal, these pills are said to help “keep you in your skinny jeans” *rolls eyes*. I also want to point out (and it says this on the bottle) that these claims have not been evaluated by the FDA. So we are essentially using these at our own risk, y’all. Anywho! First few ingredients include organic fenugreek seed powder, dandelion root powder, and organic ginger root powder, so the brand is definitely holding true to keeping the product organic. As for whether or not it works, I can 100% say that it does. Towards the end of 2019, I was eating HORRIBLY. I mean, fast food everywhere and more often than I wanted. Aside from the weight I was gaining, I was having major issues with heartburn and acid reflux after eating these fatty meals. When I started taking these pills after my meals, it cut the heartburn and acid reflux by about 90%. I was going to sleep and waking up so much easier because these pills helped me digest my food. They get a 5/5 in my book!

Lights Out ($25)

At the beginning of 2019, I unfortunately ran into a series of family issues that led me to develop sleeping problems. 12 o’clock would roll around and I would still be wide awake. I started looking into different sleeping pills and found that melatonin worked well for me. Since Lights Out was a part of that Black Friday bundle, I figured trying out another pill wouldn’t hurt. The ingredients list for this is fairly short (which is a good thing in my book!) and include Valerian Root Powder, L-Theanine, Lemon Balm Leaf Powder, Passionflower aerial part powder, and Melatonin. I had really high hopes for this product, but it was unfortunately a disappointment. The product did not help me fall asleep. Unsure if I needed to up my dose to three pills instead of two (since I am a larger woman), but it didn’t get the job done.

Metabolove ($25)

As the name suggests, this product is supposed to boost your metabolism. I have to be honest with you — I haven’t tried it yet. Why? As someone who has been on a weightloss journey for a large part of my adult & teenage life, pills like these always left me unsure. Would they work? Would they make me feel sick? Will they leave my metabolism in worse shape? I know you’re probably wondering why I bought them, but they were a part of the bundle so…*Yeezy shrug*. I’m interested to know how people feel about these types of pills, though. Have you tried any like this before? Did they work? I’d love to know in the comments!

All in all, I am pretty okay with this brand. Though Lights Out was a dud for me and Metabolove leaves me conflicted, the Bye Bye Bloat is a staple that will be staying with me for a long, long time. I would definitely buy from this brand again (I have my eye on their Sparkle Fiber). What are your thoughts on the brand?
